Wes Peden Glow.0: The Reliable Signature

These are the best budget pick on the market. Even if you don't consider yourself a glow juggler, you should definitely own a set of these. They are $50 for a set of 3, durable, bright, and fun. Use Code “NICKT” on their site for 10% off your purchase!

  • The Performance: They feel as good as balls twice their price. They feature 20 modes and a customizable favorite setting.

  • Charging: Micro-USB with a 3-prong cable included.

Lighttoys LED Juggling Balls: The Gold Standard

The most expensive, but easily the best professional balls money can buy. These are the balls that I currently use in my shows.

  • The Good: Incredibly bright and fully programmable with some of the best sync software out there. They are the only balls on this list that use USB-C, which is a massive win for convenience.

  • The Catch: They are hard and bouncy. In a high-stakes performance, a collision is unforgiving. Given the price, I honestly feel a little "scared" juggling them sometimes, you don't want to drop these on a hard stage too many times. Since they are large and hard, collecting 3 in one hand can be a little bit of a challenge.

Ignis Pixel: The High-End Visual Ferrari

These are great for the performers at large venues where you need to reach the back of the arena.

  • The Visuals: They offer a "200% brightness" mode that is genuinely eye-shattering. The app is fantastic and doesn't require a separate bridge; it shows you individual battery life for each ball immediately, but can be a little buggy at times.

  • The Feel: At $160 per ball, the 3D-printed body is a bit polarizing. For the price, you would hope for a slightly better feel, but for sheer "Wow Factor," nothing else compares.

  • Charging: Micro-USB.

Flowtoys Flowmoja: The Flow Artist’s Choice

At $70 per ball, these are great if you are already in the "Vision" ecosystem, but they have a steep learning curve.

  • The Size: 90mm is huge. If you have smaller hands, three in one hand will be a struggle.

  • The Tech: They are powered by Capsule 2.0s jammed inside. While they have cool sync capabilities, you must get the separate Bridge to make the app actually usable.

  • Charging: Micro-USB.

K8 iBall RGB-IR: Great for Content Creators

These are fantastic for small gigs because of the IR Remote. Not super reliable if you are wanting to change colors / modes during a performance.

  • The charging setup is a 3.5mm headphone jack cable. To turn them off, they require having little pins stuck into the holes, keeping track of those can be a headache.

  • Reliability: Because it's IR, you need a clear line of sight. I wouldn't trust these for a massive stage show, but for intimate gigs, they are a fun budget option for a synced light show or making online content.
